This course has been designed to help students make more progress in less time. If you’re serious about learning English and you need to improve as quickly as possible then this intensive English course is perfect for you.
This course has been designed to give students the opportunity to divide their time between studying English and experiencing life in Cape Town. With a well balanced timetable you will be able to study and explore at your own pace.
This course is designed to enable the student to communicate effectively in everyday situations. The programme aims at improving reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in addition to providing a thorough grasp of English grammar, developing vocabulary and broadening the understanding of the language used in a range of formal and informal social contexts.
Private Lessons are specifically designed for candidates who prefer one on one interaction and cannot attend full time classes. The candidate briefs the teacher on which he/she would like to learn and the teacher structures the lessons accordingly.
Contextual lessons are balanced to ensure that students improve their ability to apply language structures (grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation) for authentic communication and improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
Consists of Standard English in the mornings, combined with conversation classes in the afternoon. Intensive courses provides further improvement of student’s fluency and communicative competence by expanding on vocabulary and practicing speaking skills.
The General English course will cover the four main skills you need to write and speak English (reading, writing, listening and speaking), with an emphasis on practical communication in common situations, such as travelling, shopping, and leisure time.
The course includes 20 lessons (15 hours) per week.
